Gangsta granny by David Walliams
It's a story about a little boy and his old boring grandmother. He never liked her he always thought that she's old and not fun at all. He never like the food she made and hed beg his parents not to take him there but little did he know.
One day as he was speaking on the phone to his parents telling them how boring is at his granny's place and nagging about how bad the food is. Grandma heard everything. He started scouting around the house for chocolate until he opens a box that in his head thought its a box of chocolate. He opens the box to find it full of diamond necklaces.
He was shocked and started telling his parents that he wants to go to his grandmother's house more often because he felt the urge to discover why does she have all these diamond necklaces. One day he grabs his bike and go to her house as he arrives he sees her dressed in black from top to bottom. She mounts her scouter and starts to drive,so he follows her until they arrive at the jewellery store .As she's about to steal the store she heard the sound of her grandchild screaming her name, she turned around, grabbed him and take him back home and she starts telling him the truth. He gets excited and asked his grandma about the ultimate robbery. she answers with the crown of queen Elizabeth. The little boy starts planning the heist with his grandma but she refuses to take him with her. Until she accepted but on one condition that they were going to steal the crown but return it the day after. The heist is active. They travel to london and they start to work on the plan that grandson did until they met the queen herself.
I think that the message of the book that is everyone have secrets, so you should not judge how they looks,cause maybe they could be the funniest person you can ever seen or talk to.
It's a really good book. You learn a lot of it, for example you learn to not judge people without getting to know them well. A human being is like a book, you can't judge it by its cover. If you wanna read a book that’s not that hard and not that easy and a excited, so I recommend you to read Gangsta granny. You don’t need anything to help you to understand.
I think that title fit the story. The title is really excited, that makes you curious to know what the story well tell us about this grandmother, and same with the story. You’ll get excited when you finish reading a chapter, you just wanna know what will happen then.
This book gets 7/10 from me. Because it’s not that high English level, but if it was I would give it 10/10.
