Elevrecension: Dream on

Dream on by Bali Rai

We have read the book Dream on written by Bali Rai. The book came out in 2002. It is a fiction book with 67 pages and it takes one hour and eight minutes to listen to the book.

Bali Rai was born on the 30th of October in England. He grew up in a multicultural place and that's why he has written books with racism in them. He has gotten a lot of awards.

The book Dream on is a book about Baljit. Baljit is a boy in a small city. He loves to play football and his biggest dream is to be a football player and play for Liverpool. Baljits problem in the book is that his father has another opinion he want Baljit to work in his fish and chip shop or become a doctor. But Baljit is so good at football that he has been invited to test play in Liverpool, but Baljits father doesn't want him to play so Baljit lies so he can go. But what would his parents say if he started to play for Liverpool was something he was a little nervous for.

The main character in the book is Baljit. He is a teenage boy and lives in England. He loves football. Baljit its excessive and he follows his dreams. Baljit has Asian origin.

Our opinion is that the book is predictable because you understood that he was going to play for Liverpool. The book was relatively easy to read and not so long. The messages in the book is to follow your dream. The book gets 5/10 stars because it was predictable and not so describing.
