Emma by Jane Austen. The story about Emma Woodhouse takes place somewhere in England, I believe on the countryside. Due to the author being alive in the late 1700's to early 1800’s the story about Emma also takes place in that time. The main character is Emma Woodhouse, a rich girl who everyone seems to like and finds charming. Though from what I’ve read she seems like a bitch, she doesn’t think before she acts and the way she acts and speaks makes me feel like she thinks she’s “above” everyone else in her surroundings. She also likes to match her friends and others with suitable matches, but thinks the idea of herself getting married soon is highly unthinkable, at least in the beginning. There are some other characters such as Emma's friend Harriet, George Knightly and a girl named Jane and some more.
